This 33,000 square foot former mid-century grocery store was re-designed by Gensler to incorporate its soaring ceilings and open floor plan to create a beautiful community area with brick, wooden beams, wrought iron details and colorful, patterned tiles to invoke a Spanish Colonial style. A variety of culinary offerings include a full restaurant, speakeasy, and a teaching kitchen which provide a place for a vibrant community hub and extension of the Los Altos Farmers Market and indoor/outdoor communal seating. Mission Bell was involved from the inception, producing a variety of reclaimed wood options to incorporate into the design with a nod to the buildings original structure.
