Mission Bell is one of the only millwork manufacturing companies in Northern California that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.  The FSC was created to change the dialogue about and the practice of sustainable forestry worldwide.  FSC sets forth principles, criteria, and standards that enable the coordination and development of forest management.

Many architects and builders are using FSC-certified wood in their projects as a means of demonstrating their own commitment to the environment.  LEED (www.usgbc.org) is one important driver for this.

Mission Bell is a certified FSC Chain of Custody manufacturer familiar with the LEED certification process, and a wide variety of green materials.

Mission Bell is a Preferred Provider for 3form in Northern California.  Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, 3form manufactures environmentally friendly polymer resin products that offer a high level of aesthetics without every sacrificing safety, affordability or environmental responsibility.  They offer a wide variety of colors, textures and patterns encapsulated within their trade marked EcoResin®.

Our special training on 3form products and installation methods makes Mission Bell uniquely qualified to recommend, and install these green products.

Trespa

Mission Bell is a Preferred Provider for Trespa as well. Trespa solid composite panels resist moisture or harsh chemicals. Their smooth, non-porous surfaces will not scratch, stain, warp or sag. Virtually maintenance free, they are designed for the long haul in harsh environments. In addition to work surfaces, Trespa panels are ideal for cabinets, and shelving, reagent racks, pegboards and fume hood liners.

TopLab PLUS and Athlon are made from thermoset resins, reinforced with cellulose fibers and manufactured under high pressure and high temperature. This patented process ensures flatness and uniformity and guarantees that years of repeated cleaning will not detract from use or appearance.

Virtuon is a new type of interior wall composite. It’s practical qualities make it ideal for tough applications which include cubicles, lockers, wall cladding in hotels, hospitals, offices, schools, airports, recreation parks and swimming pools.

Trespa respects the environment and takes all necessary steps to make efficient use of natural resources. Raw materials come from regenerative agricultural forests and a product specific recycling technology is in use. All panels have long product lifespan.
